"Carling Yacht Club" was organized by the employees or Heidelberg

Brewing Company in Tacoma, Washington as the "Heidelberg Boat

Club" in January of 1958.

The club name was changed to "Carling Yacht Club" by its membership

in June of 1991. Carling Yacht Club is a member of the Northwestern

Boating Council, Boat/U.S. and Blue Gavel (Past Commodores).

Carling Yacht Club members are dedicated to safe boating and keeping

within environmental guidelines. We strive to maintain good relationships

with our communities during boating and at home.
